MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The person detained in Russia’s Dagestan conducted terrorist activities in Russia, the United States and Europe with the coordination of the right-wing radical from Ukraine, Kirill Makarenko, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Friday. Earlier in the day, the FSB said that it had detained a minor administrator of a large international online community of terrorist supporters in Dagestan. «The detainee conducted terrorist activities in Russia, the United States and Europe with the coordination of agents of the Ukrainian special services, including Kirill Makarenko, who lives in Kiev. In online communities created by the radicals, Makarenko called for crimes in Washington using ammonium-based improvised explosive devices,» the FSB said in a statement. Makarenko, who was in contact with the special services of Ukraine, coordinates the laying of caches of explosives and weapons in Russia, and is wanted for preparing terrorist attacks, the statement read. «He coordinated the activities of the radical community. He organized attacks on schools in Russia. He participated in the discussion of plans to commit terrorist attacks in the United States and Europe,» the FSB said, adding that Makarenko made videos and photos in Ukraine for the West in English with threats of attacks on schools. The radical also called for detonating a bomb on Independence Day in the United States as a revenge for the detention of recruited radicals abroad, the statement read, adding that Makarenko was the curator of the network of Telegram channels of neo-Nazi orientation.
