ST. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — Russia is waiting for Armenia to make a decision on the country’s participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), either it stays or prefers a different scenario, Russian Permanent Representative to the CSTO Viktor Vasilyev told Sputnik. «To make a decision — do they stay in the organization or prefer a different scenario?» Vasilyev said, when asked what actions the Russian side expects from the Armenian side, adding that Armenia has to inform Russia.The Collective Security Treaty Organization consists of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The organization was established in 1992 to provide international stability and peace for post-Soviet countries.
